One afternoon when we were working the week full-time in early summer to get the walls installed we kept hearing what sounded like a helicopter, but couldn't see anything. The sound was very loud and nearby and kept moving around. It was very mysterious and kept distracting us. After a while we got glimpses of a small helicoptor flying very close to the tree tops and occasionally seemed to even drop down amongst the trees. It didn't seem to be an emergency, but we just couldn't figure out what was going on. We grabbed the camera after a while and started to try to get pictures of what was going on. We were able to determine that there was something hanging from the copter, but not what.

We got a few glimpses of what was on the bottom, but still couldn't figure out what was going on.

Finally what was hanging came visible, but we were just as perplexed with what the heck it was.

After what seemed like forever we finally were able to see what it was. The helicoptor was trimming trees along the power lines! The strange thing hanging from it is a bunch of saw blades and they make short work of the limbs. I guess because I waved and looked friendly as the pilot went by (apparently they are not recieved favorably by the majority of the population, perhaps because they are loud and don't clean up after themselves) we got a visit from the support crew asking if they could use our land for refueling. Despite knowing that would basically mean we had stopped work for the day we agreed to it. Here are a series of pictures showing the copter landing (or perhaps taking off, but you get the idea).

They didn't turn the coptor off while refueling, so we couldn't get a look in the cockpit. Dondon alternated between being enthusiastic and scared, here he looks a bit scared.

This gives scale to the size of the blades these guys are flying around.
