I wasn't visualizing how small 1 ft square holes were when I came up with the design of the pool wall and was quite reluctant to cut each little square of polystyrene and cram it in each hole. I wanted to get spray foam, but it was another $2K and after tinkering a bit Eliz decided she could handle the project. Even though it will take her a couple of months, it will take me that long before I regularlly need her assistance (my next tasks are finishing the equipment room, frame the bathrooms and run the electric and plumbing (then schedule our rough-in inspection)).
