First we started with the easy part, the wall just above the floor. We decided to cut the panels even with the bottom of the windows, initially planning on covering the seam with trim, but later finding that the drywall spackle seemed adequate to cover it up.
After the bottom layer on the wall, we opted to go for the top layer, also trimmed to match the windows, then we would fill in the short peices in between the windows.
We had purchased a drywall lift for the house, but wound up hiring a team to do the work when we turned out to be doing a crappy job (I have learned a few things since then). Unfortunately, the lift would only reach the first 4 ft along the walls and we had to build a rather strange looking contraption to hold it on one of the scaffolds.
Here is a bit closer look at our contraption:
The very final sections we were able to manage just by holding them.
We decided to do a bit of Frankensteining at the end, we didn't want to waste a bunch of whole sheets, but it got tedious at times.
